On Friday the 29th of April, vLex attended the Legal Innovation Awards at the Hilton, London Bankside. Masoud Gerami, Managing Director of vLex Global Markets, was presented with the prestigious Lifetime Contributor to Innovation award at the ceremony. Masoud has dedicated over 35 years to pioneering legal technology and pushing boundaries within the publishing industry.

vLex is delighted to be partnering with LiRN to enrich library services and academic resources in law libraries across Ontario. vLex will be providing exclusive access to the Irwin Law collection of over 300 books, as well as over 300,000 full-text Canadian cases, including the Maritime Law Book series.

From April 2022, vLex will become the first provider to offer America’s oldest law library access to international materials from over 100 countries, all on one intelligent platform.

From February 2022, researchers can explore a range of journals from SAGE Publishing on vLex. These journals can be subscribed to as one collection, or as part of vLex’s renowned Professional Common Law Books and Journals Package.

With successful business units already set up across North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America, vLex will now be investing in the Asia-Pacific region, with a new domestic team led by Daniel Hobson to respond to increased demand in the area.

From January 2022, more than 30 new law journals from South Africa will be added to vLex’s intelligent research platform. For the first time, these world-renowned titles can be accessed alongside 80,000 full-text South African cases as well as an extensive range of legal information from over 130 jurisdictions.

vLex has launched a brand new Global News product to provide customers with extensive coverage of both legal and general news from around the world. Having partnered with a number of world-leading publishers to bring this product to market, vLex has become the first service to provide access to millions of reliable news articles, alongside primary materials and secondary sources, from over one hundred countries, all on one integrated platform.

vLex announces a new collaboration that will provide seamless access from Courtroom Insight’s platform to vLex’s global legal research database.

From December 2021, researchers across the Caribbean and Africa can access the official UK Law Reports on vLex following a pivotal partnership with the ICLR. These authoritative law reports can be accessed alongside vLex’s comprehensive collections of Caribbean case law, the largest collection of UK judgments, and collections of African case law.

The LegalTech Breakthrough Awards Program has announced today that Vincent, vLex's AI-powered legal research assistant, has been selected as the 2021 winner of the Virtual Legal Assistant of the Year award. Following a recent update of Vincent, the technology’s search capabilities have been dramatically expanded. As a result, Vincent is now the only tool in the world that is able to recommend related legal information from many different jurisdictions, using the vast and comprehensive global content collections available on vLex.

A new product containing thousands of U.S. jury verdicts and settlements has launched on vLex. Dating back to 1980, this collection of jury verdicts includes professional case evaluations, which can be accessed alongside the 24 million U.S. legal documents, and extensive international content, already available from vLex.
